It has been a LONG time since I've posted, & I promise to update soon. But I want to post about something near & dear to my heart.
My mother, Christy Blanchard, lost her battle with breast cancer in October 2005. She was heavily involved with Susan G. Komen for the Cure since it began in Knoxville. My sisters & I have continued her legacy by participating in the race every year. This year's race is on October 22. I welcome you to join our team, Christy's Angels, & walk with us.
If you can't participate with us, would you please consider sponsoring me as I raise funds to fight this disease? Every little bit helps! We talk about the power of ten - if ten people each give $10, I would have $100! And if those ten people asked ten people to sponsor me for $10, that would be $1000!
I appreciate your support!

Nashville
Dusty & I took the kids for a surprise overnight trip to Nashville. We were just going to look at lights at Opryland Hotel, but got talked into doing their "Ice" attraction (Daddy can be such a pushover - ha ha). It was really neat! Everything in there is made of ice. We had to wear these blue parkas & were still cold! The kids enjoyed it so much, they are already asking if we can go back next year.

Family Photo Shoot
We decided to get the whole family together and have pictures made. They turned out really well!

Garth Brooks
Garth Brooks announced he was going to do a show in Nashville to raise money for flood relief. Well, one show turned into nine! My friend, Christie, got tickets to the Wednesday night concert & asked me to go with her. It was AWESOME!!! He puts on such a great concert. I really enjoyed seeing him in concert again - & spending time with an old friend!

Impromptu Nativity
My Little Lamb
My nephew, the cow :)
Kenleigh's preschool had an Impromptu Nativity. It was so cute! Her class was animals. We didn't get to take pictures during the show, but I did snap a few afterward!
