Easter 2007

We had a busy Easter! It started with the kids looking at what the Easter Bunny brought. Then we headed to the egg hunt at Church & after Church we had lunch with Papaw & Kay Kay, where we enjoyed egg hunt #2. We came home to watch the Vols play, then headed to Jamie & Bill's for dinner with Aunt Jamie, Uncle Bill (also known these days by Kenleigh as "Uncle Daddy"), Will, Aunt Lulie & Uncle Aaron, where we enjoyed egg hunt #3. It was a great day to celebrate Jesus!!

Pennington Barber Shop

Since Colton's barber was out of town last week, we opened the Pennington Barber Shop for him. Mommy usually cuts Daddy's hair & Colton decided to let Daddy give his a try. Not too bad, Dad!!!

Decked Out In Orange

We all had to wear our orange today to root on the Vols in their NCAA appearance.

Chattanooga Aquarium

Kenleigh with the "Nemo fish"

Colton petting a sting ray

This butterfly landed on his finger!

Dusty & I took the kids to Chattanooga yesterday to visit the aquarium. It had changed a lot since we had last been (that was before the kids). Kenleigh was so excited about everything! She would run to a tank & squeal. Colton's favorite part was seeing the anaconda - what is it with little boys liking snakes? :)

Party Time

Happy Birthday, Kenleigh!!!

We had a small birthday party for Kenleigh on Sunday & celebrated with family & close friends. Kenleigh had a great time opening gifts - she did very slowly, enjoying every minute! We are working on her saying she is 2 - she likes to joke with us & say she is 4 or 9 or 3. This girl is starting to show her silly side.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Kenleigh!!

Two years ago today at 12:12 pm, Kenleigh Lauren was born into this world. Our lives have been so blessed by her presence. She constantly makes us laugh & smile, although the "terrible twos" are starting to show! The 9 pound 3 ounce bundle came into this world that day & hasn't stopped yet - she loves to keep Mommy, Daddy & "Toetoe" (that is how she says Colton) on their toes. Here are some pics from the last two years:

Happy Birthday, Dr Seuss

The Principal, aka The Cat in the Hat

Thing 1 & Thing 2

There was a celebration at Colton's school today in honor of Dr. Seuss. All the kids dressed up like their favorite character (Colton was an indian - I can't BELIEVE I didn't take a picture!!). Russell & Beth from Live at Five (a local TV show) came dressed as Thing 1 & Thing 2 - they played Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader. It was really cute!
