Wedding Time!

Andy & Amber got married last Saturday. Colton was the ring bearer & Kenleigh was the flower girl. I was not sure how Kenleigh would do, but she did fine. She made it down the aisle & stood with Daddy for a few minutes. Then she came & sat with Mommy, Aunt Lulie & Uncle Aaron. She did go back up before the end so she could walk back out with Colton.

The handsome guys!

Kenleigh had the most fun at the reception! She was a dancing queen - she didn't want to get off the floor. She would watch what the others were doing & try to copy - it was so cute!! Aunt Lulie got a short video - sorry it is sideways!

End of School Pool Party

Colton's last day of 1st grade was Friday. After school got out, we headed to Alexandra's house for a class pool party. It was so much fun! The kids had hot dogs for lunch then lots of fun in the pool and hot tub. Colton had such a great year in first grade & made lots of new friends! I can't believe we are heading to second grade!

A Gift for Grandma

When Colton was almost 4, he had a balloon in the car & Daddy accidentally let it go when he opened the door. In order to stop a major meltdown, we told him the balloon was going to Grandma. Ever since then, whenever Colton gets a helium balloon, he likes to let it go to Grandma. He had a balloon a few weeks ago & was planning another gift. He came down with a note he had written & taped to the balloon. I love the fact that he still thinks of Grandma!

Field Day 2009

Colton had his Field Day at school on May 12. I was able to hang out with him for a little while - even though he was too busy to even notice me! All the kids had a great time!

Picking Strawberries

We took our first trip to the Fruit and Berry Patch. The kids had so much fun picking strawberries. There were a lot of plants, but some of the berries weren't fully ripened yet. Needless to say, we ended up with a few berries that were still a little white. They were SO YUMMY!!!
