Fun in the Mountains

Dusty & I took the kids up to the mountains for a picnic & walk in the creek with Andy & Amber. Then the four of us drove through Cades Cove. It was the first time the kids had been up there. We saw turkey, deer & a black mommy bear with two cubs. Colton even saw bats in the ceiling of one of the old houses. They loved it! We will definitely be going back.

We decided it was time for Kenleigh to get a real big girl bed. Kenleigh started climbing out of her bed before she turned 2 & we had been using a toddler bed from a friend since March, but she still wasn't sleeping well. She would wake up during the night & end up in our bed. She really moves around during sleep & we thought she just needed more space. So we went shopping for a big bed. We've had it for about three weeks & she has been doing great!

Jamie, Bill & Will welcomed Alex James last night at 6:36. He weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces & was 21 inches long. Check back soon for some pics!!

JAMAICA

Dusty and I went to Jamaica for our 8th Anniversary. Other than missing the kids, we had a WONDERFUL time! The weather was great, the staff extremely friendly and food was delicious!
