Our vacation pet, Grover

We took a trip down to Vero Beach, FL to my cousin, Gretchen's wedding on July 4th. We headed down on Tuesday & met Julie & Aaron there for a little vacation before the wedding. It was great getting to see some family. Kenleigh latched on to Jason quickly after he helped her catch a lizard! Colton had a ball collecting seashells - there were so many nice ones.

On Thursday, Dusty & I surprised the kids with a trip to Disney World! Even Aunt Lulie & Uncle Aaron came along. It was our first trip - even for me & Julie. The kids had a ball! We just went for the day, so we didn't get to do everything. A longer trip is definitely in our future!

Kenleigh LOVED the parade!

We had a fun, exciting, but tiring day! The kids did great - we were there from 9:00 am until around 6:30. Kenleigh caught a short nap in Mommy's arms while we were waiting to meet Mickey. Colton wasn't to into meeting the characters, so while Mommy was waiting in line to meet Princesses Colton & Daddy rode some rides. Kenleigh LOVED meeting everyone.

Kenleigh has started taking ballet at The Little Gym. She was very excited at the beginning, but is still a little quiet & held back at the classes. It is so cute to see the little girls dancing around in their leotards!

Last baseball game

The spring baseball season didn't go as Dusty had hoped - we only won one game. Guess we should have known it would be bad when our team was the Yankees! The kids had fun playing & most really improved over the season, which is what it really is about.

The league Colton was in this year was the PeeWee league. A man named Vance Link pitches to the kids for all the games. Vance actually pitched to Dusty when he played at this age! After the game, Vance came into the dugout to talk to the kids. You can tell he loves what he does!

Silly Ivy

Ivy is an eating fool! She eats 1 1/2 cups of food in about 30 seconds. She knows where her food is in the garage & if she gets out there, this is how we find her - head in the bucket & feet off the ground!

My little boy turned 7 on May 26th!! I can't believe he is already 7. He has turned into such a wonderful young man. We had a scavenger hunt at Aunt Lulie & Uncle Aaron's - he had a ball following clues around the house & down the street to find all of his presents. He loved it! His favorite gift was an iPod - my 7 year old has one & I don't!! We took Colton & his friend, Will, down to the fountains at World's Fair Park for a birthday picnic then went up into the Sunsphere.
