Fantasy of Trees

Today was our annual Friday after Thanksgiving trip to the Fantasy of Trees. Daddy had to work today, but we had a great time with Aunt Lulie, Uncle Aaron, Uncle Richard, Uncle Bill, Aunt Jamie, Will & Alex.

We had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving with lots of family. The food was delicious - we have lots of good cooks! It was such a nice day that we were able to head outside for some football & frisbee after eating. I am so thankful for my family - I don't know what I would do without them!

Colton had a Thanksgiving Feast at school on Tuesday. Some of the kids dressed up as pilgrims & indians. They had lots of great food!

The tooth fairy visits

Colton FINALLY lost his first tooth last night! He was SO excited. He is one of the last of his friends to lose a tooth. It was so loose that Daddy didn't really have to pull too hard. He hit the jackpot with the tooth fairy - a new book, movie & $4.00. We told him the tooth fairy only brings that much stuff when it is your first tooth.

Halloween 2008

We had a great Halloween night! Mommy took the kids to Aunt Lulie's to meet Aunt Jamie's gang. We visited a couple of houses on her street. Then, we headed home & walked around our neighborhood with the "neighborhood gang". After a quick bite of dinner, we headed out to visit some family friends that we see every year. They were so excited - our kids are their only trick-or-treaters! When then visited Brent & Paula & ended up at Papaw & Kay Kay's. The kids had a good time - both fell asleep on the way home! Fall Break 2008

We made the annual trek to Myrtle Beach for Fall Break with Papaw & Kay Kay last week. The weather was chilly, so we stayed in the indoor pools most of the time. We did get a little beach time. Kay Kay & Mommy took the kids to the Children's Museum of South Carolina. It was a really cool place - lots of fun, educational things to do.

Three Years

Sunday marked three years that Mom has been gone from us. I still miss her every day! It is hard without her, but I know she is now healthy & out of pain. She is our Guardian Angel.

Dusty & I gave the flowers for Church on Sunday in memory of Mom. They turned out beautiful! After Church, we went to visit Mom & left the flowers at the cemetary.
